Sky Dome Tent

Sky Dome Tent

A friend asked me how the names of your tents came from. Before I create each work, I will think of a name in my mind. The first thing I consider is the pictographic name, and then I will consider some story scenes; the pictographic aspect, for example, the structure of the tent is similar to an object; the pole structure of the pangolin tent is like a pangolin with its back arched; for example, the two sharp arcs of the Bealock tent are cut to look like a pass between two peaks;

The name of the Sky dome tent comes from the work of the same name created by Mr. Hayao Miyazaki. The name sounds good. The structure of the tent is a semicircular dome. When we stand inside and look up, it feels like an empty mirror. Putting aside the pole structure connected by the fabric, it looks like the skeleton of a castle, clear and transparent.
