Chai Jialei is a friend of mine who has lived in Japan for many years. He is very young, in his 20s, and he impressed me and is full of energy!
He likes Parkour, mountaineering and camping...
I have seen his parkour videos, he is super handsome, which makes me envious (reminds me of my youth) He is also a loyal user of TFS tents. He bought a small pyramid "Morning Sun" tent three years ago. (In 2021, this tent has been re-adjusted in material and made lighter. The new name is changed to "Akatsuki ”)
I don’t remember exactly when he added me on WeChat, probably about two years ago. We would discuss how to use tents and benefit each other. Because we got along well, I also introduced other young friends living in Japan to him, hoping that they could go camping together and help each other...
The day before yesterday, Chai Jialei went to climb Mount Fuji. According to the location he provided, the camping site was the Mount Fuji Safety Guidance Center (Fuji Mountain Safety Guidance Center) at the sixth station of the Yoshida Route of Mount Fuji.
The altitude was 2390m. There was a strong wind and heavy snow in the middle of the night. Fortunately, there was a signal at the campsite, and we started chatting... He looked in good condition and had all the equipment. I even saw him digging a large snow cave to avoid the wind, which was very interesting. I felt that he was becoming more and more experienced. What was more gratifying was that he had a high sense of safety. Even if there were some difficult places to climb, he could still go back and forth safely. He came back safely yesterday and shared a lot of photos with me, which touched me very much...
Our understanding is that camping is not just Family Camping, but also backpacker, Bushcraft and Climber is a way to get along with nature, because there is clean air, water and sunshine....
